Canada's National Ukrainian Festival Choir conducted by Helen Henderson (front row, center) is a regular feature at the National Ukrainian Festival held annually in Dauphin, Manitoba. The desire of the descendants of the Ukrainian pioneers to provide a suitable showcase for the culture of their forefathers, is realized each year during the National Ukrainian Festival in Dauphin, Manitoba. The four-day event, first held in 1966, is filled with the sight and sound of Ukrainian music and dance, their arts, crafts and culinary delights, all of which have been kept alive and handed down through the generations.
